Overview
Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 3 Sleeps: 8
Wilderness Lodge is where the noise of everyday life finally fades into the trees.
Tucked into the peaceful beauty of Wears Valley, this all-wood log cabin feels like a private mountain hideaway designed for slowing down, breathing deeper, and reconnecting with the people you came with. Surrounded by forested views and fresh Smoky Mountain air, it offers the rare feeling of being far away from everything—while still keeping you just minutes from Townsend, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.
The drive in sets the tone: winding mountain roads leading to a quiet gravel approach, where the outside world begins to disappear behind you. Step inside, and the cabin opens up into warm wood interiors, vaulted ceilings, and a sense of calm that settles in immediately.
The main level brings everyone together in a cozy, open living space. A stone fireplace flickers beside comfortable seating, inviting long conversations, movie nights, or quiet mornings with coffee and mountain light streaming through the windows. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for anything, whether it’s a slow breakfast before a hike or a full family dinner shared around the table and bar seating.
A Queen bedroom on the main level offers easy comfort and convenience, paired with a full bathroom featuring both a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the Smokies.
Upstairs, the private Queen master suite becomes a quiet retreat of its own, offering space to rest, recharge, and enjoy a little separation when needed. On the lower level, another Queen bedroom continues the theme of restful comfort, along with a shared bath nearby for convenience.
Downstairs is also where a bit of fun finds its place. The game room invites friendly competition around the pool table, while a twin trundle daybed offers a relaxed spot to stretch out, read, or stay up late just talking the night away.
Outside, the cabin truly leans into its mountain setting. The main deck becomes an all-day gathering place—rocking chairs, a porch swing, and forest views that change with the light. And when the evening settles in, the hot tub becomes the perfect ending to the day, surrounded by quiet woods and cool mountain air.
As a guest, you’ll also have seasonal access to a nearby pool and catch-and-release fishing pond at Honeysuckle Meadows, adding just a little extra adventure to your stay.
At Wilderness Lodge, everything slows down in the best way. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to step away, settle in, and remember what quiet feels like again.
A true Smoky Mountain escape, tucked just far enough away… but never too far to reach.

Beautiful cabin and very comfortable stay.

Had a great stay, cabin was perfect. its remote enough in the mountains, while being close enough to the Smokey Mountain park. I was given an upgrade by Bear Camp Cabin Rentals. Will be back next year.

This cabin was amazing and exax as described. We then used the free tickets you get for renting here. We ended up doing a 4 in 1 combo ticket... one of the tickets being free for each day you're there. Anyway the tickets are to attractions, which are not in the same area. You end up having to travel around to get to these attractions and it was so much fun. All of the fun things to do, we couldn't wait to get back to the cabin each night. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a bit more remote than we were initially expecting but it turned out to be a good thing. Relaxing get away.

Cabin was perfect for our stay during “Ponies in the Smokies”. Our only complaint was that the hot tub wasn’t filled when we arrived, but all it took was a quick phone call and soon a service man came and took care of. Nice quiet setting after busy days. Maybe suggest purchasing a baking sheet and a pizza pan for the kitchen everything else ok. Thank you for the excellent stay!

Family vacation at Wilderness Lodge! Cabin did not disappoint! Beautiful setting with fishing pond near by for my boys. Close to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg attractions yet far enough out to not be in the center of all the entertainment noise. Hot tub was nice to relax after long days and my boys loved the pool table. We were lucky enough to be able to add another night onto our stay loved our experience!

We booked a weekend get away with a couple of friends and we have never had more fun!! Our cabin was wilderness lodge and it was perfect! Plenty of towels for each guest, the starter back that came with our cabin was just what we needed and didn't have to make a trip to the store to get, ohh and might I add that the Alexa that our cabin had was the NEATEST thing ever and that I was so blown away with how we could check out of our cabin by simply saying "Alexa, We're checking out", although it took a couple tries to finally get checked out I was amazed.
If you are looking at Bear Camp Rentals for your next vacation, do not hesitate! BOOK. IT. NOW.! The cabin, the view, everything was just perfect!

Had a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back. The cabin was so nice, loved it.

The cabin was amazing with plenty of space for 3 families. And what an amazing view. We were isolated enough as to not bother anyone or be bothered but close enough to not be completely out of the way. If it wasn\'t for the Ripken tournament in Pigeon Forge I would have never even considered a stay in the Smokey mountains but after the cabin experience we had none of us can wait to return. I wont even consider booking with anyone but Bear Camp Cabins
