Our family of 7, which consisted of myself, my wife, our two children and mine and my wife's parents, stayed in this cabin for 3 nights from Jan 17-20. We had a fantastic time. The cabin was laid out so well for our needs. With 2 bedrooms on the main floor, our parents had their own bedrooms and en suite bathrooms, and did not have to negotiate the stairs. Our kids each had their own bedroom and bathroom upstairs and my wife and I took the bedroom, with its own bathroom down stairs. The cabin was well stocked with all of the toilet paper, paper towels, cooking utensils and everything else that we needed. With lots of seating in the den area, and a gas fire place, we were all able to sit together in the den and enjoy time together warmly while it snowed outside. I was very satisfied with all aspects of this cabin, and would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the stay and is very clean. Only about 30 mins from Gatlinburg. Great for just 2 people, this was our anniversary trip. It’s not as secluded as it’s pictured but still very nice. Loved the screened in porch and the creek. Few things ( thats I did mention upon submitting for checkout ) 1 - bathroom shower floor is very slick and with the floor being sloped, you slide very easily. It’s a big slope so be careful while in shower. 2- the long window on wall above the bed has no covering. Nice to have a window but when it’s dark, surrounding neighbors on that side can see a good part of inside. So be mindful of that. 3-there is a hot tub off from the porch next to firepit but no privacy around it. Firepit is right next to neighbor’s porch. No privacy fence just a few smaller trees that do not block anything. People from the road and neighbors can see you and you them. Check in and out was very easy. Only issue checking in was wrong door code was sent. Had to call to get a new code. We would stay again, hopefully the few things listed will be addressed before then.

Our stay was wonderful! The check in was smooth and fast. The property was clean. The only bummer was that it was directly in between two other rentals so not as private.

Beautiful place and centrally located to a lot of incredible and beautiful places in the Gatlinburg area! Whether you want to visit the national park, or go hang out in pigeon Forge, the cabin is perfectly located! It is nice and quiet, and definitely a relaxing place to hang out!

My family loved staying in this cute little cabin. Veiw and all was everything. The only thing we disliked was that its more then 1 cabin in the area and the first cabin near the one i was staying in, the people next door were having a party and had us up until 5am. Not everybody is there to party and they were just so close to us we could hear everything.

Cabin was very nice and decent location but the views in the photo is from the cabin next to us. We had a late check in because of water issues and almost had to go to a different place. On our last full day we got a call from management with a good amount of attitude ask why we weren’t gone and we needed to leave or pay more money. After 20 minutes of communication and dropped called from being in the mountains the manager received my email showing we had another full day. Attitude definitely changed but was pretty much wrecked our last day so we packed up and left early. Won’t be returning to Bear Camp Cabins any time soon.

It was a quiet little get away you are away from the city but close enough you’re with a 10 min drive. The only draw back it is extremely close with 2 other cabins but we had no issue with noise or being disturbed overall and awesome getaway:

We really enjoyed our stay at Tanrac cottage. It was very cozy and the get away that we needed. Due to the cold weather, the waterline had frozen and we had no water but we were taken care of very quickly and had no problems. We recommend staying here and will be coming back in the future.

The cottage is new and very clean! Really nice property! The only down fall for my husband and I was the road getting to the property! Perfectly paved but very narrow and in the dark hard to maneuver, especially when coming upon a Vehicle from the opposite way.. The biggest disappointment was the TV did not work from day 1 of our 5 day visit! Maintenance came to fix, very friendly but couldn’t get it to work. Hopefully it will be fixed for the next renter! Luckily the internet worked for us to watch Hulu from an iPad. If this property wasn’t on the roads it took to get to it, we would definitely stay again!!
