Welcome to Paradise Vista!
Paradise Vista is a cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin that sleeps up to 6 people. The cabin's location in Chalet Village makes it extremely close to all the action and attractions in Gatlinburg yet you will find yourself transported to paradise as you take in the mountain air.
When you walk into Paradise Vista, you will see a beautiful open kitchen on your left, complete with all necessary equipment, a Keurig, Mr. Coffee maker, plenty of plates, cutlery, and a peninsula bar seating three. The dining area will be on your right, with a beautiful round table.
The kitchen and the dining space open to a living area with a fireplace, a large HDTV, and gorgeous views of the mountains. One of the sofas in the living room is a sleeper sofa. The upstairs master bedroom sets a romantic tone with a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. Also on the upper level, there is a large game loft with a pool table, shuffleboard, a dartboard, and board games. The other bedroom is nicely furnished with a King-size bed.
Inside isn’t the only place you can enjoy the view, the deck has amazing views of the mountains. Relax in the hot tub or dine on the deck as you take in the mountain air!
The cabin is set into the hillside on a nice lot that captures absolutely amazing views. With that said, it is fortunate that all roads leading to the cabin are paved and well maintained but are steep and some may find the switchbacks intimidating. Another great feature of this cabin is that it has convenient parking for several vehicles adjacent to both the front door.
The cabin's spot in Chalet Village means you will feel like you are much further away from the hustle and bustle then you actually are. You will be just 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg while still feeling at home amongst the views. You will love the nearly nonexistent drive to all the attractions, restaurants, bars, and bustle.
We love the juxtaposition this location offers. Within 5 minutes of driving away from Gatlinburg, you can feel lost in nature as you wind your way up the mountain.
Chalet Village has some of the best amenities including three large resort-style swimming pools available for guest use. Other amenities at Chalet Village include clubhouses, tennis courts, and numerous game tables throughout the Resort.
Pool passes to the Chalet Village Resort are available for all our guests to enjoy from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Overall, the house was big and beautiful, and the trip was enjoyable. however, there were several issues during our stay that i will like to bring to your attention.1. Heating Issues: the top level first room on the right and lower level first room one the right were extremely cold due to the heaters not working in those two rooms. I contacted Bear Cabin on the first day of our arrival and submitted a ticket about the issue. Unfortunately, i never received a follow up call. i had to call again on Friday to confirm if the ticket had been received and to inquire about when someone would come to check the heater, was told to put heater on emergency heat. depite this, no one came to the cabin, and we ended up purchasing spare heaters for the family members staying in those rooms. Communication on this matter was lacking, as I only recieved a call acknowledging the ticket but no further updates or resolutions. Wifi Connectivity, we were unavle to connect to the Wifi throughout our stay, which was inconvenient. lastly, shower knob issue, the shower knob in the lower level shared bathroom on the right was not functioning properly, making it difficult to use.while we appreciate the overall experience and the beauty of the home, the lack of communication and unresolved issues with the heating,Wifi and bathroom amenities were disappointing. I hope these concerns can be addressed to ensure a better experience for future guests.thank you for your attention to this matter.

Had a wonderful stay at Mountain Perch over the Christmas holiday. Ping pong table was a hit with the kids. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Loved it! Peaceful and very relaxing. The roads are something different if you've not been up into the mountains but overall great experience. Will be back!

Beautiful view & loved the game room. Was perfect for what we needed for our anniversary trip.

We stayed here 4 years ago when it was under different property management and it was great for my husband and I for our anniversary.
We wanted to come back with our kids but found out it had been sold. We were thrilled to find it back on VRBO this year so we booked. It had the same photos but reviews weren’t great with only 3. Although I didn’t understand that negative review, I wish I would’ve listened and found somewhere else.
I don’t know if it’s the owner or the property management, but this place hasn’t been touched in the last 4 years as far a maintenance. Multiple issues and the biggest one being the game room is 80% useless. They need to just remove everything and take new pictures with no game room. The shuffleboard was destroyed and had no sand. The dart board was full of large broken holes and only one pool stick had felt on the end to be useful.
The paint on all of the trim was chipping and scuffed so bad that they need to completely redo it. The main floor felt like it had soft spots.
We did have a big issue of the place not being completely cleaned and dirty linens were still on the bathroom floor and masterbed like they didn’t even come when we checked in. The property management did try their best and refunded our cleaning fee and bought us tickets to an event. That was nice, but with the hassle of everything, we just wouldn’t have chosen to stay there if we knew there was no game room for our family.
They need to update photos of the views as well.

Cabin given to us not comparable to actual cabin rented

My husband and I enjoyed our stay for his sixtieth birthday. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfy. The view of the mountains was beautiful, especially at night when the moon shined down. The location was very convenient to Gatlinburg without too many winding roads to get there.
There were a couple of hiccups on our first day of check in but Jessica, our contact person, communicated very well to make sure things were ironed out to our satisfaction.
The only ‘con’ I would say was the parking. You have to park partly in the road as the gravel area is not wide enough to park fully and we drove a small sports car. However, it wasn’t enough ruin our trip or impression of the cabin. We would stay again:)
