The Owls Nest treehouse sits adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at the base of Cove Mountain in Wears Valley. This open concept 1 bedroom, 1 bath treehouse sleeps up to 4 people. The treehouse is full of amenities. In addition to a queen bed and sofa bed, it offers a full size bathroom & shower and kitchenette. Owls Nest has oversized windows which provide a feeling of having the National Park in your living room.
Regardless of the season, relax in the air-conditioned or heated treehouse after your day’s activities. The kitchen has a 2 burner cook-top, refrigerator, and combo convection/microwave oven. Enjoy your favorite show on the 55" big screen smart-TV or use the free WI-FI.
When you arrive at the Owl’s Nest treehouse you will experience a calm and peaceful feel within a woodsy décor. While your treehouse sits over 20 feet in the trees, you access Owl’s Nest by a set of stairs (57 steps) & catwalks or a service set of 15 stairs. The outsides decks provide ample outdoor seating and viewing areas.
Use the decks to sit & relax or dine outside in the fresh mountain air. At night, The Owl’s Nest transforms into a nightly light display with over 150 feet of outdoor lights.

Enjoyed the Owls Nest for our anniversary. The cabin was great and we were close to some great hiking in Great Smokey Mountains National Forest. Many of the leaves had already fallen so got a good view of some stars from the deck.

I planned a suprise anniversary trip to the Owl's Nest for my wife and it was simply AMAZING! The accomodations are outstanding with breathtaking views! We loved the fact that we were 15-20mins away from countless entertainment options yet when we returned to the treehouse, we felt like we were a thousand miles away from reality. One of the greatest experiences ever. I cannot wait to come back. Owls nest was the perfect getaway. The attention to detail was hands down 5 stars. They thought of most every little thing. I’ve stayed in another treehouse in the area before from the tv show and this hands down is so much better and actually is more of a treehouse. I’m looking to book again for December. Waking up to the birds was so peaceful and going to bed with the hot tub was surreal!!!!
