"Deer To My Heart" is an enchanting, one of a kind, custom-built cabin located just outside of the Arts and Crafts Community in Gatlinburg. If you are wanting a vacation to relax, unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life without any distractions, then this cabin is perfect because it's set on 9 private acres. It is a 3-story, 2-bedroom 2-bathroom cabin which will sleep 9. The main road going to the cabin is paved, then you will turn onto and travel a peaceful, serene, wooded long gravel driveway all the way to "Deer To My Heart" and offers parking for 3 vehicles comfortably.
You will have 4 steps to enter this beautiful cabin, you will be mesmerized by all the fine details from the high vaulted ceiling, all the wood interior and the comforts of home away from home.
On the main level, you will have an open floor plan with the living room and kitchen. After a long day in Gatlinburg sight-seeing, relax and kick your feet up on one of the 2 comfy loveseats while watching your favorite show on the flat-screen TV. On those cold winter nights grab your favorite blanket and a hot cup of cocoa and curl up in front of the stone gas fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the fully equipped kitchen, but there is NO Dishwasher and a portable dining table for 6 people comfortably. You will have 2-bedrooms on this level which will share a separate bathroom that has a walk-in shower. You will have a bunk bedroom with a beautiful log style Twin over a Full-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The other bedroom will have an adorable Queen size bed and a flat-screen TV.
As you travel the spiral staircase to the loft area which overlooks the kitchen and living room you will have a Queen-size bed, 2 chairs, and a futon couch if you just want to get away and enjoy a good book.
Going downstairs you will travel the spiral stairs where you will find the game room with a pool table and air hockey table. You can relax on the comfy couch which is also a sleeper while watching TV or you can hang out by the pool table at the bar which as 3 stools. There is a full bathroom on this level with a jetted tub/shower combination. The washer and dryer are located on this level for your convenience.
If you enjoy being outdoors this is the perfect cabin with its spacious decks. On the main level deck you can enjoy the porch swing while watching the kids play on the custom-built swing set or enjoy your morning coffee in one of the 4 rocking chairs. On the lower level is where you will find the hot tub. After a long day hiking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park come back and enjoy the bubbly hot tub and soak all your cares away. You will also find a gas grill and picnic table to enjoy those spring and summer nights while cooking your favorite food or relax in the bench rocking chair. If the kids get tired of playing on the swing set there is also a tetherball for more fun. This cabin also has a charcoal grill by the driveway, just bring your charcoal and you are set to go.

Our family wanted a secluded, peaceful get away from all the noise of everyday life. And boy did we get it at Deer to My Heart cabin! Our teen boys enjoyed getting up at 6 am to sit in the hot tub and watch the sun come up and the birds sing. Our kids from 1 to 16 had something to enjoy and play with their siblings, pool table, air hockey, tether ball, swing set or just sitting in the porch swing and drawing. We loved every minute there!
It was great to have laundry access and 2 bathrooms. There was a crock pot in the closet I was able to use and have food waiting for us after a day in town go carting or enjoying the truck show. I highly recommend getting a cabin to save money on food. Everywhere in Pigeon Forge is priced like a fair grounds. Fun things to do, but make sure you have the coin!
It was lovely to have a quiet place away at a very reasonable price!
We loved the verses on the walls and good books and movies available also. We didn't have to worry about anything while we relaxed!

Great stay at this cabin! Perfect for our girls trip and right in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! Hot tub was also amazing at the end of the day to relax! We cooked dinner one night and had everything we needed utensil and cooking supplies wise.

We had a wonderful time at our cabin for our first anniversary trip! I spent a lot of time in the Smokies growing up and my husband had never been. So, we went hiking and enjoyed the beauty of the park. The cabin was clean and had basic supplies. The hot tub was lovely to come back to after a long day. Being close to town made it easy to get supplies and go out to eat. But it was quieter in the woods right near our cabin, which we liked. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

My husband and I celebrated our 8 year marriage anniversary by renting this cabin for the weekend. I loved everything about it. The hot tub was my favorite part about the cabin. I wasn't crazy about the shower, so I just stuck to the big bath tub for bathing, which was so nice and relaxing. May come back in the winter time to enjoy the fireplace and Christmas decorations ❤️

The cabin was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. On the last night of our stay we wanted to use the hot tub but it kept turning off after a minute and would not heat up. Other than the hot tub issue we had no complaints.

The place was wonderful and was what we were expecting. The pictures online were great and we got what we thought. We loved how close the cabin was to Gatlinburg. The office called and check on us which was a nice surprise. The only thing we had an issue with was trying to find the trash can outside our cabin. We did not see one outside our cabin and we drove around looking and could not find one. This was an expectation of us to dispose of our trash or we would be charged. We did try to call the office but it was closed and didn’t think it was an emergency call so we did not call the emergency line.
