The Chasing Fireflies treehouse sits adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at the base of Cove Mountain in Wears Valley. This open concept 1 bedroom, 1 bath treehouse sleeps up to 4 people. The treehouse is full of amenities.
In addition to a queen bed and sofa bed, it offers a full size bathroom & shower and kitchenette. Chasing Fireflies has oversized windows which provide a feeling of having the National Park in your living room. Regardless of the season, relax in the air-conditioned or heated treehouse after your day’s activities.
The kitchen has a 2 burner cook-top, refrigerator, and combo convection/microwave oven. Enjoy your favorite show on the 55" big screen smart-TV or use the free WI-FI.
When you arrive at the Chasing Fireflies treehouse, you will experience the life-like flashing and flickering lights of fireflies; along with firefly décor in the treehouse. While your treehouse sits in the trees, you access Chasing Fireflies via the set of stairs (30 steps) & catwalks or a service set of 15 stairs.
The outsides decks provide ample outdoor seating and viewing areas. Use the decks to sit and relax, or dine outside in the fresh mountain air. At night, Chasing Fireflies transforms into a nightly light display with over 150 feet of outdoor lights.

We loved the treehouse cabin but had difficulty finding it.
We also were sick with the flu and had to cancel the activities we had planned while in TN as well as shorten rest of our trip.
Chasing Fireflies was a wonderful place to rest and recuperate. I just wish we felt better to truly enjoy all that we had planned while there.
No way we can predict illness!

Everything was perfect! From making the reservation to check in and out was smooth. We only left twice to venture out, The place was so relaxing and peaceful we didn’t want to do anything but enjoy this slice of heaven on earth. Exceeded our expectations is an understatement. I absolutely loved my stay at this quiet, cozy, beautiful, well kept treehouse. It was amazing to be close to the Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg for an everyday experience, then escape to recharge with just the sounds of nature.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The home was clean, beautiful, and in so many ways perfect. We could have never even imagined it so perfect. The lights on the deck that luminaries the hot tub at night gave the perfect amount of peace. We even got to see a bear as we were loading our car. It had a beautiful drive to a very small village. The drive to the bigger towns was filled with amazing views of the mountains.

This place was an absolute dream!!! The bed was sooooo comfortable, we didn’t want to get up! Very clean and had all the things we could have wanted to cook our meals in. The hot tub was quite inviting looking over the deck sparkling with the custom lighting effects. The showers were hot as was the coffee which was supplied. We loved the fire pit and porch swing. We will definitely be booking again!!

Good cabin over all. Understand there is not much you can do about the sulfur in the water, but wish the filter system could do a better job. Also the steps could uses some tred for when they are wet. They were very slippery. Otherwise great cabin and would stay again.

In order to receive a refund, you must cancel the reservation at least 30 days prior to arrival (for 1-3 bedroom cabins) and 60 days prior to arrival (for 4 bedroom and larger).
With Deposit Protection, once inside this window, you may still reschedule your reservation within 12 months and receive full credit for the amount paid minus the deposit protection amount if you reschedule at least 15 days prior to arrival for 1-3 bedroom properties or 30 days prior to arrival for 4+ bedroom properties. Once the 12 month time frame has expired all monies paid will be forfeited.
