Overview
Bedrooms: 4 Bathrooms: 3 Sleeps: 10
“**Buzzard’s Roost**” is a Smoky Mountain experience built on legacy, elevation, and unforgettable views—named in honor of a 36-year United States Marine Aviator veteran whose call sign, “Buzzard,” inspires the feeling of soaring above the mountains every moment you’re here.
Perfectly positioned between Wears Valley and Pigeon Forge, this 4-bedroom, 3-bath cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and offers a peaceful mountain setting with quick access to dining, attractions, and adventure—while still feeling tucked away above it all.
From the moment you enter, the cabin sets a warm, welcoming tone. The open main level brings together a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room centered around a stone fireplace. It’s a space designed for connection—whether you’re cooking meals, sharing stories, or settling in for a quiet night by the fire. Step outside onto the covered deck, where rocking chairs, a BBQ grill, and wide-open mountain air create the perfect backdrop for sunrise coffee or evening wind-downs.
The main level also features a cozy Queen bedroom with a log-style bed and TV, offering comfort and convenience just steps from the heart of the home.
Upstairs, the experience opens into a loft-style game area with a pool table and seating, all framed by sweeping mountain views that make even downtime feel special. The upper level also includes a spacious King master suite with cathedral ceilings and a private bath—an elevated retreat designed for rest and quiet escape.
Downstairs, the cabin shifts into a more playful, relaxed energy. A foosball table greets you at the landing, leading out to the lower deck where a private hot tub awaits—perfect for unwinding after a day in the mountains. This level also includes two additional bedrooms: a King room with expansive mountain-facing windows and a second room featuring two queen beds with warm natural wood accents. A full bathroom on this level adds extra convenience for groups.
Every level of “Buzzard’s Roost” is designed to keep you connected to the view—whether you’re inside by the fire, playing games with family, or soaking in the hot tub under the stars. The scenery doesn’t just surround you here—it becomes part of the experience.
Pet-friendly accommodations are available with a $75 + tax non-refundable fee per pet (max 40 lbs, must be crated when left alone).
“Buzzard’s Roost” isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a mountaintop experience where comfort, freedom, and unforgettable views come together like flight over the Smokies.

Great cabin with great views. Fit our family of 5 with room to spare. Roads were all nicely paved, with lots of curves, to anywhere you want to go.

Had a great stay ! Lots of space and beautiful views!

The cabin was clean and the layout was great. The bedrooms are large and the hot tub new and working well. I’m glad it wasn’t snowing as we would never have made it up the hill, but the view over the valley was lovely. The cabin faces north so we couldn’t really see the Smokies from the porch, but there were a lot of rockers and it was in a peaceful community. Both AC/heat and hot water were in working order. Would stay here again!

I and my family enjoyed the great experience of actually being in a cabin on the mountains. We will definitely be using Bear Camp when coming to vacation in Pigeon Forge

This is a perfect cabin for a family getaway! The house is very spacious with most of the amenities that you'd need while vacationing. We would definitely book with Bear Camp Cabins again.

The team at Bear Camp rentals were great. They were available for any questions I had before and after the rental. They never made me feel rushed when I called. The cabin was beautiful and so were views. There was more than enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Pigeon Forge was a short drive away for anything we could need.
The big downside to this cabin was the odor of the water. The smell was so strong we used bottled water to brush our teeth and showers were as quick as possible.

love the place!! it was out of the way but not too far. The stairs were a little creaky, couldnt sneak around. Beuatiful place. would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was great...the only thing that we were disappointed was the check-out time, too early. Overall, really good!

What an enjoyable stay at a cabin with an Amazing view!! Everything was clean and ready at our arrival time and check in was convenient. Beds were comfortable and the cabin was tastefully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking, eating and drinking utensils. The hot tub was enjoyable after full days of sightseeing. Only downside was the distance from attractions. We would stay there again.
