The location of this cabin was 10/10 for me. As someone who has been coming to this area for 30 years now, I love the option to go to Townsend or Pigeon Forge in a few minutes.
The cabin is in good shape. Bunk bed in one room with full and twin and the other room has a King. The shower is good size but there is no bath option. This affected me because I have small kids, but I just got in the shower with them. Water pressure was decent. Cabin had pretty reliable internet, it did buffer a few times while we watched a movie with the kids, but all in all good. The master TV had a code on it so I couldn't download an app to watch our shows at night. That might affect some, but we didn't care that much. Kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. Charcoal grill out back was nice. Hot tub was nice. My only personal gripe is the firmness of the beds. I struggle with super firm beds and for me they were very firm! That might be your thing and not bother you, but for me.. I am glad to be back in my softy!

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Hugs. We were here on a spring break trip and didn’t spend an abundance of time in the cabin but everything at the cabin was well maintained. The drive to the cabin was an easy 15 mins from the main strip in PF. There were slight hills once we turned into the cabin community so keep that in mind for winter months. Over all this was one of the best cabins we’ve stayed at in Tennessee!

The ritzy bear lodge was a beautiful addition to the cabins to stay at in the Smoky mountains. We had beautiful views great winter weather and even saw some wildlife while we were there. The game room was the perfect size to be able to play pool and air hockey. Our cabin was very clean and plenty of room for a big family. My favorite cabin so far…

We loved the Bear Hugs cabin! It was the perfect place for our 3 night stay in the Pigeon Forge area. The beds were comfy and we also enjoyed the hot tub. It was also very clean and there were even extra towels we could use for the hot tub. We really loved the convenience to get to close by attractions and restaurants. I would definitely stay in a Bear Camp accommodation again.

We loved this cabin so much. Close to the parkway but far enough for peace and quiet. The subdivision seemed very well kept and we felt very safe staying here. My kids loved the bunk beds and didn't want to leave. The only thing I would change to make this cabin more perfect would be a tub to bathe my kids although they didn't mind playing in the shower. We would have zero problems staying here again. We even got free tickets to Dollywood and Wonder works by booking through Xplorie.

We've stayed in many cabins in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge over the years. This time we stayed in Bear Hugs managed by Bear Camp Cabin Rentals (10/8/21-10/13/21). Super easy checkin and checkout, someone from the office even called to make sure we arrived safely. And I have to say, this was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. It's decorated with a bear theme throughout, so charming! It's a small cabin, but perfectly comfortable for the 4 adults in our party. There's a decent sized back yard for walking our dog, and this property owner allowed larger dogs so our 80 pound goldendoodle was able to be here with us. We were visited by a bear one night, so be sure to lock up the trash and don't leave any food outside or in your car. I highly recommend Bear Hugs for your next stay!

Wonderful experience with BearCampCabins and great customer service. Check-in was a breeze and 24/7 customer service line answered my questions during off hours. The cabin was clean and interior decor looked professionally done. It looked exactly like the photos online and all expectations were exceeded. In particular, I loved how the cabin was a part of a neighborhood (log cabin resort community) and not just on the side of a road somewhere. It added to the feeling of security while still being isolated from the city life. Would definitely use this company again and recommend to family/friends.
