“Bear Hugs” is a beautifully decorated one level cabin with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath that will sleep 5. This adorable cabin is nestled in a natural wooded setting in the Smoky’s Cove Resort and is only about 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and 25 minutes from Gatlinburg. The road going to the cabin is completely paved and is considered motorcycle friendly at the rider discretion. The driveway is level and paved and will accommodate up to 2 cars comfortably.
There are no steps to enter the cabin, but once you do you will be amazed by all the hardwood floors and the adorable décor throughout the cabin. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are an open floor plan so you never will miss out on a conversation among family and friends. Watch your favorite show on the flat screen TV or play a game on the arcade while you relax after a long day of sightseeing. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dining for 4 plus 2 bar stools. You can access the nice, level back yard from the living room where you will have a charcoal grill for the grill masters, just bring your charcoal and your favorite food and you are all set.
As you travel down the small hallway you will have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom will have a beautiful King bed and the other bedroom will have a custom-made Twin over Queen bunkbed. The washer and dryer are located in the bunk room for your convenience. The bedrooms will share the bathroom which is located between the 2 rooms, and it has shower only.
In the summer months, the cabin offers a seasonal pool for you to enjoy on those days you just really want to hang out around the cabin and not get in the hustle and bustle of downtown Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.

Great location for those nightly sunsets! We had 11 people; 3 different families and enough room for all of us. The table was used for family game nights. We had parked 3 cars comfortably. Only disappointment was the chairs weren’t rocking chairs. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive down the mountain to grab food or do any of the entertainment. Definitely would recommend!

We've stayed in many cabins in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge over the years. This time we stayed in Bear Hugs managed by Bear Camp Cabin Rentals (10/8/21-10/13/21). Super easy checkin and checkout, someone from the office even called to make sure we arrived safely. And I have to say, this was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. It's decorated with a bear theme throughout, so charming! It's a small cabin, but perfectly comfortable for the 4 adults in our party. There's a decent sized back yard for walking our dog, and this property owner allowed larger dogs so our 80 pound goldendoodle was able to be here with us. We were visited by a bear one night, so be sure to lock up the trash and don't leave any food outside or in your car. I highly recommend Bear Hugs for your next stay!

Wonderful experience with BearCampCabins and great customer service. Check-in was a breeze and 24/7 customer service line answered my questions during off hours. The cabin was clean and interior decor looked professionally done. It looked exactly like the photos online and all expectations were exceeded. In particular, I loved how the cabin was a part of a neighborhood (log cabin resort community) and not just on the side of a road somewhere. It added to the feeling of security while still being isolated from the city life. Would definitely use this company again and recommend to family/friends.
