The cabin was wonderful. Aside from some minor items that need repair, we had an incredible time!!! The beds were comfy, shower/water pressure was great, and the views were breathtaking! We will definitely consider renting the same cabin in the future!!!

This was our second time staying at Ivy's Cottage. This cabin is very clean and well maintained! You're provided with essentials to get you through a few days (dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper), however be sure to bring any extra if you plan to stay longer. The area of this cottage/cabin is very quiet and you have a beautiful view of the mountains and the river that runs right in front of your cabin. If you don't mind a half hour drive to Gatlinburg, this is the perfect place to stay. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was beautiful. The view overlooking the lake and mountains was exactly what I wanted. My absolute favorite spot in the cabin was the porch swing bed. I spent so much time there. It was incredibly relaxing to lie there and listen to the sounds of nature and the evening storms. The hot tub on the deck was also very relaxing. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to prepare your morning coffee or make lunch or dinner. I wasn't sure whether we would see any wildlife since the cabin is close to other cabins, but we did spot a bear while fishing at the pond. The sounds of nearby construction were a little annoying during the day, but the nights were peaceful and quiet. I loved the guest book; we took the recommendations from previous guests about where to eat and were not disappointed.

Our vacation at Carpenters Splashin Paradise was a wonderful week. The house is beautiful and well-equipped. Our family enjoyed both the indoor pool at the house and the pools at the resort. The location was very convenient for tourist activities. There is still construction in the area. It will be great when the landscaping is finished.

Amazing location and great amenities. The cabin was so clean and well maintained. For anyone with dogs, I would suggest this location for more privacy and area to take your dogs out - we appreciated having that although unexpected. It does look like they are continuing to expand so that could be changing in the future. It is a duplex and the walls are thin, so you do need to be respectively quiet. The hot tub was key after our long hike days and easy to maneuver.

If you want to experience a “real” old fashioned cabin, this is your place. The authenticity of the wood and the wear, if only walls could talk. Don’t get me wrong it is redone beautifully but you can see how authentic it is from being the legit original cabin. It’s perfect for 4 people. Our boys enjoyed the hot tub and yard. It says creekside and it is but the creek isn’t accessible due to the embankment. It’s super close to town but far away enough to enjoy the quietness. We were extremely happy with it and would definitely book again. Bear camp rentals was very professional and easy to reach and responded quickly with any questions we had. Don’t miss out if you have a loved one in your family that loves the good ol days they would enjoy staying here. I said numerous times that I wish mamaw could’ve see this place.

Our third year in a row in the area was the charm. The cabin was beautiful , large enough to accommodate our 3 teen age grandchildren and still give the grandparents our privacy. This cabin was very spacious and clean. It was a big hit with the game room (arcade - PAC-man who doesn’t love it, billiard, pinball annd board games. The hot tub on the lower deck is a hit. Our first morning had 2 bear visits and was the highlight. Enjoyed the show and Gatlinburg area.
