We really enjoyed our late September stay at Honeybee Cottage. We appreciated the spacious bathroom and big shower and liked the open layout of the cabin. It had a fully functional kitchen with nice appliances. Plenty of closet & drawer space in bathroom and sleeping area. My favorite part was the absence of the loud droning sound of a jacuzzi that wouldn’t get used. We were a little surprised at there not being a grill, but nonetheless enjoyed eating some of our meals in the rocking chairs on the (partially covered) back porch by the creek, even in the rain! No mosquitos!!! There are neighbors directly across the creek so if they are also outside there is not much privacy, although there is a privacy fence built around half of the porch, but that blocks view of the stream. The only complaint we really had was a lack of seating inside (options included 2 barstools, a one person sized chair, or bed). Would be nice to see the chair swapped for a small loveseat. We did also have a slight concern about the blinds on the front door leaving a small gap where someone could potentially peek inside the cabin, especially at night.

The cabin was perfect for our group of 6. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was super easy to get to and centrally located! We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely love this property as this is the second year in a row we've stayed here! You get great mountain views without the winding, blind corners of a high location. I love the open space in the kitchen and dining area, and you can't beat the game room and all the games it has to offer! We never could get the tv in the game room to work, neither last year nor this year. One suggestion I would have is to update the curtains in the main bedroom so they go across the whole sliding door. I would say we'll definitely be back though!

Very nice cabin. Very clean. Beautiful views. Easy to get to and easy to access Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I would recommend.

We could not get the ceiling light in the living room to work. Pretty dark in there. Also several lamps could use a light bulb. Great cabin. Great stay.

We loved it. It was very peaceful. Loved hearing the creek. There was only one thing that bothered us. The lack of places to plug in phone chargers next to the right side of the bed. But we had a wonderful time.

Had a lovely two night stay at one of their properties. There was plenty of communication by email with everything we needed to know. The house was as described. Will definitely be booking with them again. I tried to get the same house a couple weeks later but sadly, it was booked. 😁

Stayed at the Birfd Hallar for Labor Day weekend. It exceeded expectation. Everything is was clean. The bed was comfortable , and the jets in the hot tub were powerful. The location was perfect and close to a variety of activities. The fence provided an ideal perimeter for the dog. Mushroom coffee in the back deck with the scenery was a morning ritual. Would 100% book with this company again!!

The cabin was clean when we arrived. The sectional was nice to have so we could spread out and read or watch tv. The beds were very comfortable. Loved having the washer and dryer. We went out every day, and we came home tired and looking forward to relaxing in the cabin. This was one of our favorite vacations! Thank you!

Location was great! Cabin looked rather primitive, until I opened the door. Everything was fresh and clean. The layout of the cabin was exceptionally well planned out. Pricing was great as well. I will definitely recommend others and hope to visit you again in the future

I was in awe and beside myself in joy with the river flowing. It sounded like a mini Atlantic Ocean. At night listening to it was peaceful. I wished there was a way to go down to it. I saw stairs but i knew they were private property. A mini waterfall at the bridge to view. I enjoyed watching the bear out the kitchen window. I heard of the Smokey Mountains but to see it in person was... no words to describe... I told everyone in my Church group if I had the money to make an offer, I could live there just to hear the river every night.

We had a wonderful stay. The main bathroom sink did not drain and the TV remotes did not have a back which made it hard to turn the TV on and change channels. Other than those small problems we had a wonderful stay.

We had such an amazing stay in Alta Vista. The views were incredible, close to the attractions on the strip and our 3.5 year old LOVED the arcade game and puzzle table.

Sorry if I already sent a review. This was a last minute trip for my 13 year olds birthday Oct 2. Just to get it out of the way the ONLY downside was arriving late and after dark. This was unavoidable because he had to go to school Friday. So plan your trip with early before check-in arrival so you can hit the Dollar General 2 miles away and find property. The GPS will take you too far up the hill. The address is on the telephone pole to the left. While you will be on the gravel road at this point the driveway is paved. It is shared with Owls Nest. Even though you share with another tree house they are up the hill and both properties have privacy in the trees. Once we got inside Friday night we found a fabulous one room open concept tree house with Queen Bed , Couch, kitchenette (two burners, no stove, microwave, coffee Maker, large fridge,toaster, large sink, dishwasher) everything you need to make a meal. Don't forget your spices. Combo W/D was great so we could dry the bathing suites after a soak in the hottub. Overall property was great. The WiFi was very as the teen would say was mid. I used my android to make my own internet which I do most places even in hotels so this wasn't a problem for me. It was also rodrun weekend so bandwidth is an issue that might be addressed soon if they get more satellites for coverage. Don't forget your free tickets that come with cabin. We spent $400 on about $900 worth of activities. White Water Nascar Go carts Zombie Escape Mt Coaster (Best Activity) Another late night Coaster Sunday all day water park. ( opened at 11a so helped with something to do when checkout was 10a And we finished with 12 minute Helicopter ride. We will be back. Thinking about a family reunion with cousins and brother. Looking at 15 person cabins.

Place is definitely worth more than just 5 stars, I give it a 10! This property was excellent! The entire family enjoyed our stay, although short, it was amazing! We will be back and stay a full week. The peacefulness of the place was very relaxing and very easy to get to, drive way needs a little attention from the rain but nothing to really complain about since we were in a truck. Just what we needed to re-charge. The entire process from selecting the cabin to arrival and departure was too easy for a first time cabin rental.
