French Broad Riding Stables

French Broad Riding Stables is located on 275 acres of historical land. When you start your guided tour you will go 1/2 mile up the river to the old Kyker Ferry Crossing. You will then travel up the hills and through the woods until you come to an opening of the Great Smoky Mountians. You will then go down the hill to the 16th century cemetery and down the rail road bed where they built Douglas Dam. This land is also civil war grounds. During the Battle of Boyds Creek both the North and South fought here.

We have the most friendly staff most of it is family operated.
We love our land and our animals here on the farm. This is the best way to unwind and relax. Leave all your cares be hind you and come and enjoy nature like you never have before.
