Smoky Overlook cabin is a
semi-secluded, luxurious log cabin for couples & families looking for a memorable getaway with the most phenomenal views of the Smoky Mountains. THIS is the place for relaxing on one of the three private decks overlooking the most majestic mountain views you will likely ever see! The cabin is located in the beautiful Wears Valley area and is 8 miles to Pigeon Forge, a beautiful 12 mile drive to Gatlinburg, and a short 5 mile drive to the National Park.
The space
Smoky Overlook is a 1,920 sq ft semi-secluded cabin. Best of all there are no power lines or other cabins to obstruct your views!!!
As soon as you walk into the cabin, your breath will be taken away by the floor to ceiling expanse of windows with the magnificent view. The exterior sliding glass doors lead to a large private wrap around deck with plenty of seating. You can enjoy your coffee while taking in the scenery, cozy up with a good book, or relax on the hammock for a nice nap!
In the living room you will see the floor-to-ceiling stone hearth with an electric fireplace, setting the perfect tone for a romantic night or a family evening by the fire. A 60" flat screen smart TV sits above the fireplace, with Netflix and other movie apps along with network and cable channels available for your enjoyment. You can listen to your own music throughout the cabin using the two
bluetooth portable speakers provided.
The master bedroom is on the main level with a king log bed and ensuite bathroom. The bedroom has a 40" flat screen TV.
The beautiful kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances is fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals or bake your favorite desserts! All dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils, as well as a Keurig Coffeemaker, regular coffee pot, crock pot, toaster, and blender are provided.
Heading upstairs to the loft, you will find another private deck from which you can enjoy the expansive view. The sitting area in the loft is furnished with a pull-out sofa and recliner where you can curl up with your favorite book or watch television on the 40" flat screen. The full bath has a toilet, sink, and Jacuzzi tub (no shower).
Walking downstairs into the finished basement, you will find glass sliding doors that lead to the private lower deck where you can soak your worries away in the hot tub. The game room is also on this level. It is equipped with a full size pool table, arcade game, and shuffleboard table. A futon couch is there on which to relax while you view a movie, sports, or your favorite show on the 50" flat screen tv.
A second king bedroom is on this level, with a king log bed and a full bath with a tub/shower combo.
A full size washer and dryer are also on this lower level. Laundry soap is provided.
All bathrooms are stocked with hand soap, 2 rolls of toilet paper, bath and hand towels, washcloths, and a blow dryer. Please provide your own make-up cloths as we ask that you not use our white ones. THANKS!
Outside on the lawn, you will enjoy a spacious beautifully-built stone paver entertainment center. It consists of 2 levels, one with a built-in BBQ grill and one with a firepit. Both levels have built-in seating. This is perfect for romantic evenings under the stars or family time by the fire cooking s'mores!
All roads leading to the cabin are paved as is the driveway. There is ample parking for 3 cars.
Although there are lots of activities and adventures in this area, you will look forward to returning to Smoky Overlook to relax, soak in the hot tub, or entertain yourselves here in case of rain!
